These free (or really cheap) Nashville area workout options will help you to meet your workout goals and your money goals — and that's the kind of multitasking that we could all use.

  • Orange Theory. You've definitely heard of this trendy workout facility. If you want to try out their heart rate-based interval training, your first class is free at any of their three Nashville locations — the perfect way to get in some serious cardio without spending a dime. 
  • Hotbox. Want to try out a kickboxing class with some of Nashville's best instructors? The first class is free for local residents at this boxing gym located conveniently right in the Gulch.
  • Title Boxing. Beat stress and build strength at this boxing gym with two Nashville locations on the East Side and in Midtown. Your first class is free and wraps are just $10 to rent (unless you already have your own).
  • CardioBarre. Located on 8th Avenue South, this upscale barre studio offers a free class to first-time visitors. 
  • Small World Yoga. Every single class is free through this local yoga collective, which hosts classes at schools, libraries and other public spaces around Nashville. Best of all, this nonprofit organization aims to make yoga more accessible to people of all income levels. 
  • Shakti Yoga. New students can get 30 days of unlimited yoga for just $30 at this Music Row yoga studio; after that, take advantage of their weekly community classes with teachers-in-training for just $5 per class. 
  • Green Hills Run Club. Love running? Hate running, but want to learn to love it? Join up with the Green Hills Run Club, which offers 3 or 5-mile options on Mondays at 6 p.m. starting at Fleet Feet Sports in Green Hills. 
  • Radnor Lake. Once the weather warms up, lace up your hiking boots or your sneakers and hit the trails at Radnor Lake, one of Nashville's most beautiful (and most convenient) state parks. Dogs are allowed on the paved trails, but if you want to explore the wooded hiking trails, you'll have to leave Fido at home.
